HISTORY
In 2016, Heron Preston collaborated with the New York City Sanitation Department (DSNY) to create the groundbreaking collection called UNIFORM. Disillusioned with the superficiality of streetwear and inspired by an encounter with trash, Heron turned to DSNY to recycle donated clothing and authentic DSNY uniforms. Each piece was meticulously screen printed, embroidered, and adorned with an official label. Part of the proceeds from the collection went to the Foundation for New York's Strongest, a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the service of sanitation workers. This collaboration marked a significant milestone in the brand's history, showcasing its commitment to authenticity and social impact.
