HISTORY

Jonathan William Anderson, the founder and designer behind JW Anderson, was born in Magherafelt, Northern Ireland, in 1984. Although he initially aspired to be an actor, his fascination with costumes led him to pursue a career in fashion. After studying menswear design at the London College of Fashion, Anderson gained experience as a visual merchandiser at Prada, where he worked alongside designer Manuela Pavesi. In 2008, he launched his eponymous menswear line, followed by a womenswear collection in 2010.
