HISTORY

Inspired by Linda Loppa, the head of the fashion department at the Antwerp Royal Academy, Raf Simons transitioned to menswear design in 1995, launching his eponymous label. Throughout his journey, Simons has held various positions, including head professor of the fashion department at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Significant milestones in RAF SIMONS' history include the publication of "RAF SIMONS REDUX," a book celebrating the label's 10th anniversary, and the "RAF SIMONS 1995-2005" fashion/art event held in Florence. In 2005, Simons became the creative director of Jil Sander, further solidifying his reputation as a visionary in the fashion industry.
