HISTORY

STORA SKUGGAN's journey is marked by several notable milestones that have cemented its status as a pioneering brand. The founders' DIY perfumery experiments led to the creation of their first perfume, "Fantôme de Maules," inspired by a mystical creature in the Maules forest. This debut fragrance set the stage for their innovative approach. DESIGNER

STORA SKUGGAN traces its roots back to 2015 when four design student friends, including Tomas Hempel and Olle Hemmendorff, joined forces to establish the brand in Stockholm, Sweden. Their vision was to have complete autonomy in every aspect of perfume creation, from formulation to packaging and branding. Drawing inspiration from their surroundings, including the eponymous Stora Skuggan park in Stockholm, the creative collective delved into the world of fragrance formulation, discovering that quality raw materials were the key to exceptional perfumes. Over the years, STORA SKUGGAN has evolved into a perfume studio that pushes the boundaries of fragrance as an art form, combining conceptual stories, visuals, and physical design to bring their creations to life.
